Battery Draining very fast / battery discharges very soon

This is very common issue with every phone so here are few steps you can follow to save your phone's battery.

• Always set your phone's screen brightness to auto it saves lot of battery power. (Screen consumes 30% of battery power). You can set it by opening notification panel by sliding it downwards and there is option of outdoor/auto you just need to tick this option.
• Always use power saving mode or ultra power saving mode so save battery power (It restricts the OS and turns off few features to stop consumption of battery ).
• WCDMA/LTE mode consumes more power than GSM so select GSM only mode while not using mobile data (Settings -> more network -> mobile network -> network mode - GSM only).
• Network fluctuation also consumes a lot of battery. Here a question why? Answer is that whenever network disconnects your mobile phone starts searching for network which requires antennae to work with OS and ultimately your phone's battery is being consumed. So if you are in the area where there is no network or network fluctuation is more so stop complaining that my phone's battery doesn't stay long.
• Always close background applications if they are working in background it means your processor is working and battery will drain. You can close background applications by following methods: -

                      For OS version 4.3 or lower
                      Press middle button and hold for 2-3 sec and the window will open and then close all                           by sliding left to right or vice versa or by taping on close all or X sign.

                      

                      For OS version 4.4 or above

                      Press left button and hold for 2-3 sec and the window will open and then close all                                 by sliding left to right or vice versa or by taping on close all or X sign.

• Always update your phone periodically.
• After following all these steps you facing same issue then you can try your phone in SAFE MODE, if your phone is working fine in SAFE MODE then you can RESET PHONE. 
• If still you are facing the same issue you can go for replacement of battery or visit service center.

RESET PHONE

Well you need not to visit service center or any repair shop you can do it by yourself, its very easy.

But always remember before resetting your phone you should take take BACKUP of your data because it will be deleted after resetting your phone.

RESET PHONE

• Go to settings -> backup and reset -> factory data reset - > reset device - > erase everything. (Always recommended)

                                        OR

• Turn off your phone, then press home button, volume up button and power button.

         After that it will show you some process going on so wait for some time and then your phone              will restart. Now your phone settings and OS is in factory setting mode.

UNFORTUNATELY SETTINGS HAS STOPPED WORKING

We come across these kind of problem a lot and we visit service center or try to reset phone. But here is a solution for this problem.
But when this problem comes and why ?
When I am opening about device it shows unfortunately settings stopped working or I am opening accounts it shows this error. we can come across this problem several its not because your handset is faulty its because there was some changes made in settings suppose you are getting error in accounts so it might be becauae you have cleared data of samsung account, or gmail account etc. So there is nothing to worry about. we got a very simple solution for this.

Solution

Go to settings -> application manager -> All -> Settings -> clear data
-> settings storage -> clear data
Now restart phone here we go the problem is solved.
If this doesn't work we can reset our phone at any time.

PHONE IS NOT CHARGING "UNSUPPORTED CHARGER"

So this one is tricky sometimes we get this error and we start looking for other charger.
But changing the charger is not the solution.
You simply need to follow the following steps:

• Remove your phone's battery.
• Clean carbon of the Battery.
• Reinsert your phone's battery and now try 

Here we go phone is back to normal. But it doesn't work all the time sometimes there is issue in your charger also and sometimes in battery so always try charging with some other charger.
If battery or charger is damaged so you need to replace them obviously.

MEMORY FULL ERROR

Sometimes we wonder my phone's storage is full still my phone is showing "Phone is running LOW on Memory". So don't worry here is reason why this is happening: -

• Your phone's internal storage is full that's why it is showing you this error. It doesn't depend on your SD card's storage. Now to check your phone's internal storage :

                      GO TO SETTINGS - > STORAGE

• Now check internal storage now you still wonder it is 400 MB free or 316 MB free so it doesn't depend on that as well your phone's internal memory should be at least 20% free to work your phone smoothly. If its not free than your EMAILs won't sync your phone will run slow etc.

   

How to solve this problem. So here is a SOLUTION.

• Open Apps and select MY FILES / FILE EXPLORER - > device memory - > select few files and move to ext SD card.
• Go to setting -> storage -> clear cache.
• Go to settings - > Application Manager -> Open third party apps and move to sd card storage

2nd Method save contacts on GMAIL(Online)

• Go to settings -> Accounts -> google -> tap on your gmail id -> Sync contacts

• Go to contacts -> open the options -> merge accounts -> select google

BACKUP FILES

There are two methods to save your Important DATA such as Pictures, Documents, Music etc.

1st Method

Save your files to SD CARD

• Open your Application -> select My files/ File Explorer(can be any explorer acc to your handset model) - select All Files -> Device Storage -> Select the folder your want to save(such as DCIM, Documents)
• After selecting the folder select cut/copy and move data to SD CARD and paste.

So here we are our data is saved in SD CARD.


2nd Method

This is the simplest method you can save your data.
Requirement : - Laptop, Data Cable and Your Mobile phone

• Download PC suits for your Android Phones such as

           Samsung -

              KIES 3:             For Android version 4.3 or above
              Smart Switch:   For Android version 4.3 or above

After installing these softwares in your PC connect your mobile phone through PC.

SO here we go we can save all data in your PC.

So to RESTORE your DATA follow same steps and click on restore your data and here we go.
Your phone is back with all data.

RESTORE CONTACTS

To restore contacts there are few very simple steps.

Restore contacts from SD CARD/ SIM CARD.

Go to contacts - >settings -> contacts -> Import / Export contacts - > Import from SD card/ Import from SIM  Card.
                                                                 OR


Go to contacts open the option from vertical dots or left hard key at bottom of your screen
Select Import/ Export option & then select Import from SD card/ Import from SIM Card.

Restore contacts from GMAIL.

After resetting your phone to restore your contacts simply Add account

Settings- > accounts -> Google -> Sign In from same Gmail ID

After signing in Tap on sync contacts and wait for few minutes all your contacts will come back to your device.

HANGING ISSUE, PHONE RUNNING SLOW

Now this is very common problem in Mobile Phones. So generally most of the user complains about this thing but remember one thing if your phone is Hanging or running Slow so this is totally dependent on RAM & Internal Memory of phone.
So Try the following steps and this should do a trick:

• Clear all the recent Apps time to time whenever not in use.
• Uninstall Antiviruses & power boosters, battery saver apps.
• Clear RAM of your phone (Settings -> Application Manager -> Running - > stop few processes(Just remember not all process only those which are downloaded by you)).
• Can check you phone in SAFE MODE as well. (Try for like 2 hours)
• If your phone runs smoothly without hanging so uninstall few apps and this should do trick
• Also you can hard rest your phone after taking BACKUP.

• This should resolve your hanging issue if you still face hanging issue or phone running slow issue then you will have to visit service center.

SAFE MODE

This mode is specially for troubleshooting purpose only. If your phone is hanging, running slow or you are facing any kind of trouble like battery drainage issue also try your phone in safe mode
In safe mode Applications which you have downloaded from PLAY STORE, Google or Installed from any where else won't work.
Such as Whatsapp, Facebook, Clean Master, AVG antivirus, Hike, etc.
So always keep in mind if you are in safe mode there application won't be working but these are not deleted from your phone it will be there.
Safe Mode is simply like mode when you reset your phone and there are no apps installed.

So how to go into Safe mode.
So press power button - > restart phone - > as soon as your phone turns off press volume down button
& keep it pressed unless your phone starts

Here we go you are in SAFE MODE. So how do we know we are in safe mode.
At bottom of your screen it is written safe mode.

FLASH /CAMERA IS NOT WORKING

If there is some error in your phone like "CAMERA FAILED" or "CAMERA NEED TO RESTART"

FLASH NOT WORKING

Need not to worry now here is a solution for you. Calm down first than try these steps 

• Pick up your phone open settings -> Application Manager -> All 
• Search for Camera and enter into that clear data of camera
• Uninstall Apps related to camera & flash 
• No No not yet 
• Turn off your phone remove battery, SD card, Sim card 
• Now press power button & keep it pressed for Like 40-50 seconds
• Now insert sim card hey hey why are you in rush don't insert SD card 
• Turn on your phone and start your phone 
• Check your phone's Camera it should be working
