Advertisements are coming on the screen

These problem generally occurs after installing few apps and then you start getting weird advertisements on your home screen or anywhere in application. There might be advertisements like to install any application.

Solution : 

• Go to settings  - > Application Manager - and look for the third party applications and uninstall apps there might be few apps which won't be uninstalled 
• So go to settings - security - look for apps and remove tick and deactivate except android device manager.
• After that go back to Application manager and uninstall application it will work.
• If still application doesn't uninstall try phone in SAFE MODE and follow above procedure it will definitely work.
• After that restart phone your issue will be resolved.
• If any of the solution doesn't work then Reset the phone.
• If still there is same problem just look if your phone is rooted or not. Ques arises how to check phone if phone is rooted or not. Go to Settings - > About Device - > Status - > Custom/ Modified(It means its rooted). 

Points to Remember

You have to look carefully for the application which might be creating this problem so idea for this is app may start with "com" like com.android.locker , com.google.search etc. so these apps may be creating problem. Other application might be antiviruses, power boosters , battery savers, or other apps so if there are unused apps in phone so do uninstall them.

Contacts are updating continuously

Sometimes this problem occurs after updating your phone. Whenever you open contacts it shows updating contacts and rotate round and round. So other than resetting the phone there is a solution for you.

Solution :

• Download Super Backup app and take the backup of contacts first so that your contacts are backed up first. You can take backup of your contacts using this App.

• Then go to settings -> application manager -> All - > Clear data of Contacts & contacts storage.

       

• Now go back to contacts your issue will be resolved.

Mobile Data is not working

If you have recharged your phone with mobile data but internet is not working so here is a solution for you.

Solution :

• First of all check sim card manager setting so go to settings ->  sim card manager - > select sim which you want to use for internet in data services network.
• Go to settings - more network - mobile network - Access point name - open the options and select reset to default. 
• Restart the phone now.
• If same issue Need to remove sim and reinsert it.

Recover deleted pictures from Gallery

It happens so many times that we delete our important pictures and we want them back. But how do we recover those deleted pictures as we are not hacker or something. But there is possibility to recover our pictures if we use WiFi. So here is a solution to this problem.

Solution :

• First you need to check whether your pictures were synced with GOOGLE or not because this is the only possibility that our pictures might come back. So to check it Go to settings - > Accounts - > Google - > Now look whether Picasa web Album was synced or not. If it was synced and you use WiFi then there are chances that your photos can be saved.
• Now you need to download "PHOTOS " App from Play Store. And sign in with the same EMAIL ID from which it was synced and here are all your photos scroll them downwards. If photos were synced they all will come here otherwise they were not synced.

Unable to delete files from SD CARD / Memory Card

Sometimes you are trying to delete some files from gallery its not deleted and you think that there is some problem in your phone but its not like that. To make sure about this you have try few steps :

• Go to My Files / File Explorer - All Files - Device Storage - then try to delete any file and check whether its deleted or not. 
• Now come back one step and check SD card storage / Memory Card storage - try to delete any file. 
• Now you will get to know you are not able to delete files from SD card storage.

In this case we get to know that there is problem in SD card not in our phone so now what do we do. If you are thinking Hard Reset then the ans is NO.

SOLUTION :
 The solution is to format the SD card if its not formatting also then replace the SD card. Formatting can be done by below steps :

• Go to Settings - > Storage - > Format SD card .

                                        OR

• Connect your mobile phone with PC and then format it by right click on your SD card drive and format.

                                      OR

• You can format SD card by using command prompt. So how to do it. 

                            Press windows + R - > type CMD and new window will pop up.

                            Type the below commands

                            FORMAT H:

          "H" is the name of drive so it vary as per system.

Auto Backup folder from gallery is not deleted

When you open the gallery there is folder there by the name of gallery (Generally in Samsung Phone) and you want to delete the images from that folder but you are not, as soon as you delete any image from this folder or try to delete this folder it again appears on the screen.

Why this problem occurs?
-> Actually this not the problem its a feature of android, this helps you to take backup / sync all your images with google. If your pictures are deleted then you can recover them from here.

How to get rid of this folder?

If you are not able to view files in Gallery but are able to view same files in My files or File explorer so it means obviously there is something wrong. 

What is the problem?

->  Your files are hidden that's it it's not a big issue it can be resolved very easily but it could be time consuming that's it.

Why this problem occurred ? 

- > There could be a reason for this kind of problem like you might be using some kind of app to hide/ lock apps or files such as app lock, CM security etc. 

So how to solve this issue? 

There are two method to follow same procedure :

1st Method

• Go to My files / File explorer - device storage - Open settings - tick on show hidden files.
• Now search for " .NOMEDIA " file. You will be seeing so many white color file which will be displayed here so you have delete them one by one by holding .nomedia file and tap on delete.
• And now you will be able to see all the files in gallery or music player.

2nd method

• Connect your phone with PC/ Laptop through USB Media Storage. 
• Open Media Storage drive of your Mobile Phone. 
• Search for .NOMEDIA file and delete all file at once.
• Disconnect data cable of your phone and you will be able to see all your files in Mobile.

3rd Method

• Go to My Files / File Explorer - select the folder where you have your files/ Images and select them all.
• Now tap on move and create new folder and paste there.
• Now delete older folder now go back to gallery you will be able to see all your Images or music files.

Unable to view call logs

This problem is very common that you are not able to view call logs like if you dial a number or you receive a call but there is no call log in your phone or if its there but the latest call is displayed at the last of call logs.

Why this problem occurs?

Solution :

• Go to settings > Date and time > set automatic date and time and auto time zone.

• In settings scroll down using two fingers and double tap on accessibility and then look for TALKBACK and double tap to open it. And then double tap on green button or you will get to know from where to turn off and double tap to turn off.

Phone dead

If your phone is dead its not working at all. There could be so many reasons for this like :

• Mobile could have fallen
• There could have been water inside mobile.
• High voltage and could have damaged PBA (Motherboard) of phone.
• Battery could have been discharged to very lower level.

So before visiting service center you can try the following steps :

1. Try charging it with charger and leave it for like an hour. The question comes , Why you need to do this? Sometimes what happens is your phone was discharged completely and switched by its own so it doesn't turn on. So you need to charge it and then try turning on the phone.
2. Or can try charging with other charger.
3. Remove battery and re-insert it. And then press power button for little longer time.

com.android.keyguard has stopped working

Upgrade Software of Android

Want to update software so why visit service center you can update it by yourself. We generally visit service center to update software and waste our money.
There are two methods to update software:

1st Method

Update software using FOTA (Firmware Over The Air)

This is the most simplest method to update software all you need is Internet Connection.
It doesn't mean that you need WiFi only, you can also use mobile data but this can consume lot of mobile data so WiFi is recommended.
Why use WiFi?

WiFi is recommended because it provides you good internet speed so that you can download update without any hurdle and no need to wait for so long. These updates are  of 500MBs or more, so it may take long time while using 2G Data.
WiFi also recommended because a lot of data is needed so using Mobile data can increase our usage and as we know mobile data is too costly, so why waste lot of money but if that's not an issue so go for new update.

Solution

Go to settings - > about device -> Software Update - > Update now

In few android phones you may get by the name of "About Phone" but it will there only.
These option is always at the last in all android phone so it's very easy to find out.

After installing updates click on install and then phone will restart just wait for some time and here we go your phone is updated to new version.

Points to remember:

You battery should be charge up to 70% if phone is discharged while installing updates then phone may be dead. If phone is dead then you will have to visit service center and PBA(motherboard) will be changed so always remember this. Or you can put your phone on charging and be out of Risk.
Update doesn't mean your phone will be converted to new version on each update. Few updates are to remove bugs of OS and updates may be of 5MB or less.
Always keep your phone Updated.
If your phone is ROOTED then you can't update your phone through this method.
2nd Method

In this method you need your PC/ Laptop and data cable to update phone. There are PC suits of each mobile company for this purpose. For example :

SOLUTION


Download any of the above PC Suit as per your requirement  and then open PC suit.
Connect mobile with PC through data cable.
You will see connecting mobile and after few seconds it will show connected.
Now simply look for FIRMWARE UPGRADE/ SOFTWARE UPDATE option and click on update.
You will see your phone will start downloading firmware and while installing your phone will restart and your phone is updated.


Points to remember:

There is a myth that updating mobile's OS can delete all the data . No its not true mobile's data is not erased while updating OS.
Your phone's battery should be charged more than 70% or put on charging while updating OS, if phone turns off while installing new OS then there are chances of phone being dead.
